workshopping the unruly

This group of artists, curators, and professors met monthly, using “workshopping” as a framework for artistic production. Our meetings underscored the importance of socialization, intimate discussion, exchange, debate, and interference in rethinking practice and the institutional structures in which they are housed. Members of the group included Barbara Adams, Itziar Barrio, Daniel Bejar, Juanli Carrion, Rob Carter, Jenny Marketou, Dread Scott, and Blanca de la Torre.
